Odessa Delaina Burrow
Being raised in Alaska’s remote wilderness gave me a tremendous passion for nature’s wilds. From my earliest years of living on the banks of a river in Willow, I have accumulated a lifetime of incredible experiences exploring the great North.
I paint primarily in oils however, love using other mediums such as Pastels and Acrylic and Watercolor
As a member of the Alaska Artists Guild, I have participated in outdoor painting around Alaska, including Seward and Homer as well as First Friday events and workshops..
My passion in art is COLOR!
“The greatest minds are like film, they take the negatives and develop themselves in darkness…” ~ Brandi L. Bates Remains To Be Seen
I am attracted to what is local and I love to paint my hometown, Anchorage. While I enjoy painting a landscape or lovely still life, I particularly enjoy painting a cityscape, with contrasting light and shapes they provide a wonderful challenge. Add an urban moose into the mix and I’m right at home.
My Anchorage city scapes and Urban Moose collection are available year-round at Stephan Fine Arts Gallery. As well, I can be contacted directly for details.
